I’ve always been a fan of Make Up For Ever’s primers but their new Step 1 Skin Equalizers have totally changed the game. There are two types of primers in the line, Texture and Tone, each with five options. I have a ton of redness in my fair skin so I chose the Redness Correcting Primer (Texture) and Radiant Primer Blue (Tone)

The tube has the tiniest hole so you don’t use too much product at once and you really don’t need much. I apply the Redness Correcting first and let it sit for a minute then I add a drop of the Radiant Primer Blue. I really mean a drop, any more than that and I look almost ghost like but the minimal amount gives my face a glow.

Both of these primers have colour but dry invisible and they work so well that I don’t have to wear any makeup over them. The Redness Correcting literally gets rid of all my red completely and lasts all day. They smell amazing as well.

These have quickly become my go to primers, especially on days when I don’t want to wear any makeup over them. There are so many more I want to try, the Mattifying, Smoothing and Hydrating are all on my wishlist.
